We've all been there, we've all been let down by promises of delivery only to end up with reports that just are not up to scratch or quite simply taking too long.

I deliver on time and to an exceptional level of report quality.

Modern Slavery Cases

My Psychological Assessments are investigative and can identify if the client is a victim of Modern Slavery; particularly Human Trafficking, Forced Labour, Forced Criminality and Debt Bondage.

Human trafficking is the movement of a person from one place to another, within a country or across borders, with a view to exploiting them. (Government Gangmasters & Labour Abuse Authority).

Forced Labour is defined by The International Labour Organization as, all work or service that is exacted from any person under the menace of any penalty and for which the said person has not offered himself voluntarily. (Government Gangmasters & Labour Abuse Authority).

Forced Criminality is understood as the exploitation of a person to commit pickpocketing, shoplifting, drug cultivation and other similar activities which are subject to penalties and imply financial gain.

Debt bondage is where victims of forced labour may also be tricked into working for little or no money to repay a debt. (Government Gangmasters & Labour Abuse Authority).

Debt bondage can be present in many forms of exploitation and can take a range of forms. Debts may arise out of the exploitation itself, for example in relation to accommodation or travel fees, with victims having little or no control over their debt and little or no way to pay it back. Costs may be deducted from their wages, leading to further debts being accrued. A person may be forced to work to pay off the debt and it can also be used as a means of controlling a victim and keeping them enslaved.

Domestic Abuse Cases

All forms of domestic abuse are not acceptable in any situation. My psychological interviews are investigative and identify and detail the past & current psychological difficulties and their sources.

Domestic abuse is not always physical violence. It can also include:

- coercive control and ‘gaslighting’
- economic abuse
- online abuse
- threats and intimidation
- emotional abuse
- sexual abuse

Anyone can be a victim of domestic abuse, regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, religion, socio-economic status, sexuality, or background.

Signs can include the client:

Being withdrawn, or being isolated from their family and friends.
Having bruises, burns or bite marks.
Having their finances controlled, or not being given enough to buy food, medication or pay bills.
Not being allowed to leave the house, or stopped from going to college or work.
Having their internet or social media use monitored, or someone else reading their texts, emails, or letters.
Being repeatedly belittled, put down or told they are worthless.
Being pressured into sex or sexual contact.
Being told that the abuse is their fault, or that they’re overreacting.

Psychometric Testing

All my psychological assessments include GAD-7 and PHQ-9. Similar psychometric tests known as BAI and BDI-II can also be used if required upon request.

GAD-7 originates from Spitzer RL, Kroenke K, Williams JB et all; A brief measure for assessing generalised anxiety disorder: the GAD-7, Arch Intern Med. 2006 May 22; 166(10): 1092-7, GAD-7 Pfizer Inc.

PHQ-9 Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ) 9-question depression scale, a self-administered version of the PRIME-MD, a 59-question screening tool that assesses 12 mental and emotional health disorders: Dr Robert J. Spitzer, Dr Janet B.W. Williams, Dr Kurt Kroenke, Columbia University (1999)
