Yes. Payment is required before the assessment proceeds.
An invoice is issued on confirmation of instruction.
This applies to all services including Legal Aid instructions, subject to LAA funding confirmation.
How quickly can I get a medico-legal report?
Standard turnaround is five working days from assessment.
Urgent 48-hour delivery is available at a 50% uplift.
Weekend and bank holiday delivery carries a further 50% uplift.

Are assessments conducted in person?
All assessments are by secure video link or call.
Alla does not travel to assessments as a matter of routine.
If your case specifically requires an in-person assessment, this can be arranged on request — travel is charged at cost.
